Dr Siän Dines from Inner Wisdom Psychology is established in private practice on the Sunshine Coast where she implements psychological treatments focused on empowering individuals to mindfully adapt to their life circumstances. Dr Siän Dines has over 20 years’ experience in public and private mental health, providing clinical psychology and rehabilitation services. Sian has been employed in various positions as a clinical psychologist, manager, researcher, lecturer, and tutor, she has published and received quality service awards. Previously, Siän established and managed one of the first early psychosis services, identifying young people at risk of developing psychosis in the Hunter New England region of NSW. Sian’s doctoral thesis focused on recognizing diagnostic criteria and warning signs of psychosis; including neuropsychological, positive and negative clinical symptoms, and social adjustment indicators. Hence Sian is also competent and resourceful in diagnosing, treating and supporting ASD, Autism, Psychosis and major mental health issues.Siän’s ability to liaise with, family, support people, medical, educational and employment service providers, whilst remaining mindful of confidentiality, is inherent to the success of her service provision.As a Doctor of Clinical Psychology, Wife, Mother and Survivor of Cancer, Siän has invested significantly in her relational, educational, spiritual and emotional development. Siän’s life experience and professional expertise are commensurate with her work as a Psychologist.
