The Walcha Pioneer Cottage and Museum complex comprise a variety of Historical Buildings. The buildings, most dating back to the 1860's, contain numerous artefacts which are typical of the historical development of not only Walcha and surrounding districts, but the foundation of country NSW. Amongst the buildings open to the public are the Museum, the Pioneer Cottage, the Tool Shed, Wool Hall, Blacksmith's Shop and a hanger containing a Tiger Moth Aircraft which was owned by the Royal Australian Air Force and late East-West Airlines
